Court lighting is provided to enable all year round tennis. At present there is no charge for the lights.

During 2010,  as part of our ongoing LTA approved action plan to improve playing standards and to increase the number and the frequency of people playing tennis, particularly amongst juniors, new lights were installed on courts 4 & 5 and upgraded on courts 1 – 3. In total this cost in excess of £30,000 and was supported by grants from the LTA and East NOrthants District Council.

The project was completed in consultation with local residents and others, including the Dark Skies organisation www.dark-skies.org , and the new lights create very little light spillage whilst enhancing the actual on court lighting.
